A New Season in the Studio

The studio is alive with paint once again!

After stepping away from the studio while we completed a major home construction project, I’m delighted to be painting again.

Although my brushes were temporarily set aside, creativity never was. Living through the design and actual construction process…surrounded by architecture, natural materials, layered textures, carefully chosen colors, papers, metals…all of this and more offered FRESH inspiration. It became a season of unexpected observation, inspiring ideas and beauty in new ways.

Back and in the NEW STUDIO, those experiences are finding their way into new bodies of work.

I am excited to soon be sharing these paintings as they emerge here over the next few months and in new surroundings as well!
