Kid Rock wrote a song that in one line says "Are the fields all painted up in red and blue?" I love the color purple and I always have though blue is number one if I am forced to choose. But I love that line because it indicates looking back and wondering are my current memories accurate and if I went back would it be the same?

Color influences us and for many it is purple whether the mountains, the fields or the flowers that you come upon. I know on our trail, seeing purple wildflowers at certain seasons thrills me because it is so unexpected.
